WORKSHOPS
Where the thinking meets the field
The classes teach you how to see. Workshops are where you go out and do it — camera in hand, in real light, with real decisions to make and someone beside you to help you make them.
A workshop isn't a tour with cameras. You won't be herded from stop to stop. We head out together to places worth photographing, spend real time in fewer of them, and slow down — scouting, composing, reconsidering, and shooting with intention, with feedback in the moment instead of weeks later.
Come for the photographs you'll make. Leave seeing differently.

What's coming
Workshops are in the works for the year ahead — and I'm building them the way everything here gets built: deliberately, with no filler.
I'd rather run a handful of workshops worth your time than fill a calendar for the sake of it. So these are being shaped now — the right locations, the right light, the right time of year to actually photograph them well. Iowa has more worth seeing than most people slow down for, and that's where we'll start.
When dates are set, the people on the list hear first — before anything goes public, and before small groups fill.
Leave your name below. No noise, no weekly emails. Just word when there's a workshop worth showing up for.
